For our PVC Plantation Shutters, the process begins once semi-finished materials are prepared.We follow a stable production flow to ensure consistency in size, structure, and surface effect.
1. Material Picking
From the semi-finished warehouse, we take the parts required for each order according to color, quantity, and type, and move them to the coating line for surface treatment.
2. Slat Processing
We cut the slats to the required length based on the order.
The ends of the slats are manually sanded to make sure the edges are smooth, and then primer is sprayed.
After that, we process pin holes on both sides and either install the tilt rod pins or machine the hidden tilt-rod groove, depending on the shutter design.
3. Stile Processing
The stiles are cut to the order specifications.
We then drill the slat pin holes according to the slat spacing and quantity.
The mortising machine is used to make the mortise for the top rail, bottom rail, or middle rail.
We also drill the assembly screw holes and the tension adjustment holes.
4. Top & Bottom Rail Processing
The rails are cut according to the required size and type.
We use CNC mortising to process the tenon joints at both ends, and then trim and adjust the final height as required.
5. Frame Strip Processing
Frame strips are cut to order sizes and then dovetail joints are made using a dedicated dovetail machine.
6. Panel Assembly
The slats, rails, and stiles for the same window opening are assembled into a complete shutter panel on the assembly table.
7. Hardware Assembly
The panel and the frame are matched and fitted with hinges and hardware, and the specifications are checked once more against the order.
8. Final Inspection and Packaging
We conduct a full inspection on each shutter panel to ensure that structure, type, and surface finish all meet the customer requirements.
Photos are taken for internal records, and then the shutters are packed either as set-pack or split-pack depending on shipping needs.
9. Sorting and Shipment
Finished goods are sorted and prepared for shipment according to destination and customer instructions.
